Environment

Ring O’ Fire follows the Countryside Code.

Respect - Protect – Enjoy

  • Be Safe, plan ahead
  • Leave gates and property as you find them
  • Protect plants and animals
  • Take your litter home
  • Keep dogs under close control
  • Consider other people
  • Take only memories, leave only footprints

“Follow the Countryside Code wherever you go. You will get the best out of the countryside and help to maintain it now and for the future.”

For more information visit The Country Side Code.

Water bottles

Please bring your own water bottle / hydration system as we’re not dispensing water in plastic bottles. This is to minimise litter-dropping on the trail and reduce our environmental impact.

Car share

Ring O’ Fire encourages car sharing. Please check out our Ring O' Fire Facebook page and connect with other runners who may be traveling from your area.

Registration

Nothing will be sent out in the post before the event. Less paper, less impact!
