Getting to Holyhead and Anglesey

Holyhead is closer than you think and within easy reach of several major cities both in the UK & Ireland.

• Manchester and Liverpool are less than 2 hours drive away.
• London is just over 3hours 30 minutes away by direct train.
• Dublin is less than 2 hours away by ferry. 
• Cardiff is a 30 minute flight away.

By car

Follow the A55 Expressway along the North Wales coast and across the Britannia Bridge.
From the Britannia Bridge it takes a further 20 minutes (20 miles / 32 km) along the A55 to reach Holyhead. Free parking is available at the event start and finish point,on the approach road to the Breakwater Country Park.

By train

Holyhead Station has direct train links to London Euston and Cardiff. From the train station in Holyhead, Breakwater Country Park is just a 20 minute walk.

By boat

Dublin can be reached in less than 2 hrs. Breakwater Country Park is a 20 minute walk from the ferry port. For details on ferry times and fare visit Stena Line or Irish Ferries.

By plane

Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester International Airport are 104 and 122 miles away respectively.
