Checkpoints

There are checkpoints placed along the length of the course. Each checkpoint will have:

  • Water and Coke
  • Fruit, chocolate, sweets and other treats!
  • Gazebo (for some shelter)
  • A friendly face to meet and greet you (and take a note of your number and time)

Please bring your own water bottle / hydration system as we are not dispensing water in plastic bottles. This is to minimise litter-dropping on the trail and reduce our environmental impact.

Bags

You can leave your bags with our Team at the start of each days running. We’ll transport two bags for you: your main bag will be available at the end of each day and an additional small 'half way' bag will be accessible at the Day 2 half way point (Baeumaris).

Day 1
At the Amlwch War Memorial Hall where you’ll spend your first night.

Day 2
At the halfway point until 430pm and then at the Aberffraw Village Hall where you’ll spend your second night.

Day 3
At the Holyhead Breakwater Country Park where you'll finish!

Note Laughing

Your 'half way' bag should be no bigger than a 20 litre ruck sack please:

Dimensions:  50cm (H) x 26cm (W) x 20cm (D)

This will enable us to effect a smooth logistics programme throughout the second day and ensure your main overnight bag arrives in good time at the end of the day. Nobody likes hanging around in smelly, wet clothes and trainers waiting on the organisers to arrive with their bags!

You will note the description of your bag(s) at Day 1 registration.
