Our Royal Send Off!

The Duke of Cambridge officially started the 2013 Ring O' Fire and was accompanied by the Duchess of Cambridge on their first public appearance together since the birth of Prince George.

We are truly thrilled that Prince William and Kate were able to give our 2013 runners a royal send off!! They spent about an hour with our with race directors Bing and Q, as they mingled on the start line and met some of our runners.

What a fantastic memory for everyone involved!

"James & Team, Thank you for an 'amazing' event. Won't say I loved every minute! but there were so many magic moments, Day 1 sunset on the tops above PorthWen ...Stunning. Day 2 Sunrise @ Trwyn Du.. It went slightly downhill from there till Day 3 : I just had to make Sandy's & my home... The welcome and the bacon butty got me all fired up for the rest of the 'run' with its stunning scenery and fantastic welcome at EVERY Check point, as there was throughout the event.
